This privacy policy describes how Pollen Pet ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We built Pollen Pet to be a privacy-friendly experience. The App runs entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to any server we operate.
Pollen Pet does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.
The App requests your approximate location (with your permission) solely to fetch local pollen forecast data from the Google Pollen API. Your location is:
You can revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings. Without location access, the App will not be able to show pollen data for your area.
The App uses the Google Pollen API to retrieve pollen forecast data. When a pollen data request is made, your approximate location (latitude and longitude) is sent to Google's servers. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.
All app data (cached pollen responses, widget preferences, notification settings) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. No data is stored on external servers.
With your permission, the App may send local notifications when pollen levels change significantly. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No push notification infrastructure or external servers are involved.
Pollen Pet does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App does not require any personal information from any user.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
